Sergei Polunin

The BBC yesterday reported that Sergei Polunin has resigned from the Royal Ballet without warning and with immediate effect. Three years ago, Polunin had been made the company's youngest ever principal, promoted at just 19.

I highly recommend the fascinating interview with Polunin here. He has led an extraordinary life already. Perhaps he has quite the Royal Ballet to dedicate himself to that tattoo parlour?
